 If you like a smoothie that has a touch of spice, some sweetness and a bit of a kick then you will love this Carrot Ginger smoothie! It’s such a refreshing drink and if you’re on a weight loss journey and trying to get rid of that stubborn belly fat (like most of us are) then this healthy treat will do you a lot of good! Before I share the recipe I’d like to share some of the health benefits with you. (I recommend  having your smoothie in the morning cause it’s a great way to start your day!)

3.) Great source of vitamin C
4.) Prevents stroke
5.) Suppresses appetite (Aids in weight loss)
6.) Anti inflammatory
7.) Loaded with nutrients
8.) Reduce risk of diseases such as Cancer, Diabetes and Heart disease
9.) Burns belly fat
10.) Decreases morning sickness in pregnant women
11.) Eases arthritis
12.) Regulates blood sugar
13.) Boosts immunity
14.) Improves hair growth
15.) Improves blood circulation
16.) Improves memory

Now that you know the health benefits here is the recipe:

Carrot Ginger Smoothie

2 cups grated carrot

1 inch ginger grated/sliced

1/2 cup fresh pineapple 

1 Banana

1 cup unsweetened Almond Milk

1/2 cup pineapple juice

1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon/Turmeric

1 greek or French Vanilla yogurt

Honey to taste

2 cups whole ice cubes

Put all ingredients in blender and blend away!
