Meal Prep has always been part of my weekly routine, but sometimes life gets busy and I just don’t have the time to grocery shop, cook and then put everything in Tupperware for the week ahead. I used to love spending my Sunday in the fall and winter doing this routine to help me eat clean and stay on track, but I find that come the weekend I have no time or energy to devote hours to meal prepping. I started to look for a solution to help eat clean but at a good price and very convenient and saw a sign on the highway for EatCleanBro.com – right away I was intrigued and said “I need to try this out so I can share a review with my readers!”
EatCleanBro services the NJ/NYC area and the process to order your meals is very easy. I have shared my meal deliveries on my Instagram and have order almost a dozen times from the company. I do not receive free meals from them, I have not been paid to talk about them either. We have ordered so many times that I figure it was time to share it with you all since I have put a lot of friends and family onto them in the last few months.
As an avid meal prepper this was a natural fit for me and once I tried it once, I got hooked. They offer meals for vegetarians, low carb diets, seafood, meat and more! As a pescatarian I only eat seafood so it was so great to see they had some shrimp and salmon options. Actually the salmon meal is my favorite one! It was so easy to get a delivery and load up my fridge so that we have quick, healthy meals without the hassle of stopping to get food, grocery shop and cook!
You can eat the meals cold or pop them in the microwave for a short period of time. Most of the time I am in a rush and just grab one and go. I also love that there are meals on their site that are 400 calories or less, which is perfect to watch your portions and count your daily calories very easily.
To order you just create an account on their website and then add the meals to your cart. If you add 20 meals to your cart you get a 10% off discount that is automatically applied to your account when you use my link www.eatcleanbro.com/JerseyGirlTalk. If you live near Freehold, NJ you can place your order and then go to pick it up at their location to save some money, or for $10 they will deliver it to your door on the day you select.
It usually takes at least 2 days for you to get your deliver from the day you order; so if you order on Thursday you may not be able to set your deliver until Saturday or Sunday. I suggest to put your order in before you run out of your meals to ensure you have a stocked fridge.
I pack 1 meal for my lunch and take that to work with me, and have 1 for dinner when I get home. Hubby eats 3-4 per day throughout the day and for dinner so together we go through about 6 meals a day combined.
They will bring your meals to you in bags to your door, but if you are not going to be home during the day for delivery you can spend a little more for a cooler bag to keep your meals cold until you get home. Most of the time my meals have come between 3-8pm, but the good news is they will text you when they are on their way with a window of time to expect them to deliver so you can plan your day accordingly.
I have to say if you are looking for a meal prep delivery program in the NJ or NYC area to give Eat Clean Bro a try. They have always delivered on time, the food is always fresh and for a week’s worth of meals for 2 people (me and my husband) we get around 25 meals for a little more than $200 and that saves me a ton of time on cooking, cleaning and shopping!
Not only do they have amazing meals but they also offer delicious snacks and treats too. I recently had a friend send me some tasty treat from EatCleanBro for my post surgery recovery. It was the ultimate gift for a person who is healthy and fit and perfect to help with making getting well after surgery a bit more sweet. It was such a perfect gift and much tastier than flowers 😊
I enjoyed these while I was posted up on the couch recovering from hip FAI and labrum tear surgery. I got to try the protein ball bites, the chocolate chip cookies and the brownie bites. Everything was delicious! If you have an occasional sweet tooth these are great without all of the guilt.
They also add special new items every week so that even if you get bored of some of the same meals week after week you can always try adding a few to see if you like something better. You can also shop by type of protein or by type of meal which makes it really easy to find the dishes that are perfect for you and your current goals or diet restrictions.
We usually buy most of our meals from the Under 400 calories list, but since I no longer eat any meat it’s nice to quickly search by seafood or vegetarian also. My husband loves the General Bros Chicken, Lemon Pepper Chicken and the Turkey Taco Salad. I love the Grilled Salmon and every week I try their new seafood salads which can be a Mediterranean with some shrimp or something like Mahi Mahi burgers. I also am trying out the Eggplant Meatballs which look delish!
Some meals are larger size portions and range from $9-14 and the smaller sizes are around $7-8 per meal. Everything is fresh so it does have an expiration date clearly written on the top so you know which meals to eat first so you don’t waste them. Usually the seafood gets eaten first since that will go bad quicker. We only buy enough meals to last us around 5 days so that is around 20-25 meals per order. Like I said if you use the link below you will get 10% orders of 20 or more meals.

As mentioned we love EatCleanBro and have been ordering from them for the last several months. I have never had an issue with my delivery date, meals or service. Nothing has ever shown up bad and it’s a very reliable team and website. I’d suggest giving it a try and then figuring out which meals you love the best. If you get bored of eating a lot of the same meals, switch it up with new ones or take a week or two off and do it again. We’ve done that before where we buy for a month straight, then we need a break and we do our own meal prep. It’s a great option to break up your meal prepping and healthy eating routine.
Let me know if you ❤ then as much as I do!
